Sea of Camo Over New York City

It is not often that you see military uniforms taking over New York City, so when it does happen it is a special moment.

On this Veteran’s Day, there was a lot of activity taking place, but one particular bash noteworthy of mentioning is IAVA’s gathering in the Plaza Hotel.

The entire 4th floor of the Plaza hotel was filled with Veterans, Active Duty military, troop supporters and the IAVA shirts and uniforms were all you can see from every direction. Everyone looked like they were having such a great time and the IAVA treated the military like royalty on this very special day. Take a look at what the New York City area vets got to enjoy today, and of course, it wouldn’t have been a real party without a room dedicated to making care packages to those serving overseas!

Taking the entire 4th floor of the Plaza, some people were hanging out in the hallway.

Wouldn't be a party with out a full bar.

There was plenty of food for the Vets to enjoy.

Of course there would be a DJ!

These guys were so happy to be here, and are very proud of their Military Police unit!

The sign says it perfectly.

Computer stations were set up where Vets could learn more about IAVA and check mail.
