About the Author:

Maja is a proven and trusted communicator working in the marketing communications field across public, private and start-up environments over the last seven years. Her team player mentality and ability to adapt to any challenge and succeed makes her an invaluable asset. Designing and implementing social media programs for the U.S. Air Force, she has authored policy and served in an advisory role for U.S. Air Force Generals and senior leaders across various commands and functions.

A deep passion for marketing communication and branding has taken Maja all over the country with MTV Networks, National Football League, Momentum Worldwide, First Touch Management the US Air Force, FleishmanHillard and most recently Cramer-Krasselt. A Cum Laude graduate of Babson College, Maja fully embraces and lives the entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in bringing that energy to any project she is involved in. She is also a recipient of a Master in Arts in Communication and Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University where she published a thesis on communication theory as it relates to social media and graduated with honors.

She enjoys speaking on social media and communication issues and has spoken and guest lectured a variety of audiences including universities, government communicators, social media conference attendees and military public affairs officers and senior leaders.

    I stumbled on your blog and was impressed by your posting about servicing the military segment of higher ed students.

    I’m doing some research on this, and, was curious if you knew what third party vendors do a good job of marketing and getting the word out to military students. And, any other thoughts/insights you have on the matter I’d be glad to hear.
